The LA TIMES says I “SLAYED”! It’s true – not only is “Institutionalized” by Suicidal Tendencies and unexpected trixxie carr lip sync (with puppets!), it’s also a chance for me to show off my punk roots and live vocals with the incredible Punk Pride band! Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go’s and John Waters both gave nods after the show, JW was RIGHT behind me when I turned around after dancing to The Dead Milkmen and said “You were great!” and Jane was like “How did you remember all those lyrics?!” lol…Lip syncing and singing that song is a challenge I welcome, and when I look out into the audience, as soon as I start there are tons of people singing along which is SO AWESOME!
